I really enjoy being able to unlock my MacBook Pro remotely/ without keystrokes. However, I have two issues with the app. First, its really annoying that it constantly tells me my MacBook wants to be unlocked while charging. Second, it loses connection way to often. When it works, it works well. When it doesnt work its just annoying and useless.

This is a great app, but last update breaks the connectivity between mac and ios

It worked the first time the afterwards it keeps looking for the iPhone. The proximity sensor does not also work. Has never worked.

When it works properly, it is nice not having to re-enter my password. However, where is fails is the bluetooth connection. Even with my iPhone in my pocket right under my Macbook Air, the app keeps loosing the connection and the screen goes blank. Very frustrating. For me it was a wast of money.

Such a downer. Doesnt connect with Bluetooth half the time. Buggy too. Boo. :(

I see that Im not the only one with this issue. For my purposes it is sufficient that my mac screen lock once the Bluetooth connection is broken. That is, when I leave the house it is going to lock my machines for me. This it does very well. It is also important that as I approach my machines they unlock. This MacID also does well. However, on both my 2011 Mac Mini and my 2015 MacBook Pro I find that my screen will go blank at random intervals and force me to wait several seconds before I can get to the password screen to manually unlock them. This never happens on both machines at the same time and is likely more an issue with how the Mac handles Bluetooth connectivity but this is something the app needs to be able to prevent. As others have said this very much defeats the purpose of it and makes it a nonstarter. I have reported the issue but have heard nothing from the developer after several weeks so I do not know if he is not interested or just overwhelmed. Regardless, I have had to disable the app because it makes the machines unusable. I will definitely be willing to try it again if there is some attempt made to correct the issue. But for now it is just wasted money.

I installed the client on my MacBook Air and on my phone and Apple Watch. When I tried to use my watch it would work some of the time. On my MacBook Air though it started to really mess with my Bluetooth connectivity where it would keep dropping. If I turned off the client Bluetooth worked fine again turn the client back on and Bluetooth issues came back

This is one of hose rare apps that changes how you interact with your Mac / iPhone. Allows you to log in and escalate with TouchID. Auto lock and unlock work well. Well worth it.

One of most useful and well implemented apps Ive ever used.

This app is fantastic and this new update brings back the speediness of MacID, which is enjoyed by all and love all the new features made available. If you want an easy way to unlock your Mac then this is sure deal and the best app out there. The developer truly cares and wants to improve their product and releases updates often and fixed problems ASAP.

Apple should just buy this application to integrate into iOS and OS X.

MacID is an absolute dream. Being able to unlock my phone with just my fingerprint allows for a more complex password on my Mac, meaning better security. Inherently there was Apple Watch support, but now I can lock/unlock my computer and manipulate playback/adjust volume from my Pebble, too! Best of all, the developer of this app clearly has a passion for it. There are frequent updates that not only address bugs but also add new features. I use this app many, many times every day, so spending $4 on an excellent product made by a stellar dev seems like a no-brainer.

Had a lot of issues with previous versions that lead me to uninstall but this version seems to be a lot better and more responsive.

Please do something with auto-unlock. I didnt have this problem 1-2 month ago. I disabled "auto-unlock" on my Mac but it still send notifications on my iPhone 5S that "Mac want you to unlock it". All is very good except this. Please fix it. Your app still the best and there are no worth alternatives. Thanks. I hope youll fix it.

Waste of a perfectly good dollar cant even get a refund o well I tried

Been missing a fingerprint reader on my new MacBook and his app is the perfect replacement. Highly recommend.

A must have for any mac user, the ability to have the security of a long password but the convenience of instant access to your computer.

Ive tried everything to install. Dont bother, devices do not show. Does not work at all. Worst of all, I went a head and reset my Bluetooth settings and it deleted all my settings. Yikes!
